Turtle Sanctuary Update

The Turtle Sanctuary now has 2 Red-Eared Slider Turtles. Their distinctive name comes from the red streaks on each side of their ears. Its diet is omnivorous, and it grows up to 12 inches. The turtles can live to 30+ years and are one of the most popular pet turtles in the U.S. They like aquatic places, but also need an environment for them to bask in.

Monarda

The Monarda plant is a genus of flowering plants in the mint family. Monarda’s are commonly found in north america, They perfer moist soil but also well drained as well. common names commonly used for the monarda is bee balm, horsemint, oswego tea, and bergamot. The fragrance of the leaves, which is a reminiscent of bergamot orange.
